BIWAKO BIENNALE 2025, FLUX. Curator: Yoko Nakata.

Site-specific for the former Omihachiman post office. 17 previously unseen translucent paintings, presumably created in Brazil with terracotta pigments, mining waste, and meteorite dust blown live onto silk and cotton canvases, backlit by windows positioned behind the paintings. Materials: heaven and earth.

On the floor will be several locally sourced stones, perforated and embroidered with silk threads and threads produced in the interior of Brazil.

PRAYING, Solo exhibition. Curator: Ana Avelar. Museu da Inconfidência, Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Embroidered stone sculptures, paintings with meteorite pigments, and a performance with local female dancers. Note: The exhibition will travel to public spaces in five Brazilian capitals.
